We are specialists in the removal and treatment of Japanese Knotweed and other invasive weeds

Herbicide Treatment

Herbicide Treatment

Folia (leaf and stem) Application

This is perfect for large infested sites that are not ecologically sensitive or subject to strict Japanese Knotweed treatment deadlines.

Stem injection

Stem injection is an alternative to foliage spraying, which can affect other nearby plants.

By injecting a concentrated dose of Glyphosate Herbicide into each individual cane using equipment specifically designed for the treatment and eradication of Japanese Knotweed.

Stem Injection

On large construction sites when work is in progress, the presence of Japanese Knotweed can cause costly delays to the building process. However, where possible, Japanese Knotweed can be relocated to a quarantined area of the site for treatment later, allowing work to progress as normal on the rest of the site. The Japanese Knotweed infestation can be treated with a chemical application at a later, more convenient time.

Root Barriers

As an alternative to removing Japanese Knotweed, it is also possible to halt its spread by using a Japanese Knotweed root barrier.

Sifting & Screening

Sifting and Screening

Excavating soil contaminated with Japanese Knotweed for ‘off-site’ burial can be very costly as it is classified as controlled waste in the UK.

The less contaminated soil you have, the lower the costs of the off-site burial will be.

Burning is one of the Japanese knotweed removal methods we use, and our method and equipment ensure that the plant is fully incinerated to ensure full removal.

Other Invasive Weeds

Other Invasive Weeds

Japanese Knotweed Specialists are one of the UK’s leading contractors and consultants in the control, treatment and removal of all Invasive Weeds.

We offer our services nationwide through local teams supported with our bespoke innovative field based software to deliver the very best service.

Vegetation and Tree Management

Trees and vegetation close to residential or commercial properties, power lines or on land accessible to the public need careful management to avoid risk to personal safety, or damage to buildings and other structures.

Landowners are responsible for the trees on their land and have a duty of care to prevent, as far as possible, injury to individuals and the destruction of property.

Wildlife Fencing

Wildlife fencing can be required both on existing residential and commercial property, new developments and rural environments, to protect animals who would be in danger if their habitat were compromised, or to prevent damage on specified areas of land by controlling wildlife movement.

Japanese Knotweed Specialists provide ecological fencing services which will meet either requirement.
